"Jiu Jitsu For Everyone"
Martial Arts, talking with friends, and listening to podcasts.
I played Rugby League, Cricket, and Ice Hockey growing up but I was always interested in, and trained in, a martial arts of one kind or another. I have trained in Aikido, Karate, Boxing and Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My achievements include a black belt in Zen Do Kai freestyle karate, 2 NSW state titles in Kickboxing, fighting for the WKA South Pacific title and gold medals in the Masters division at the BJJ Pan Pacs 2018. I am an experienced martial arts instructor for adults and children and a former NSW Police weapons and defensive tactics instructor.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been an integral part of my life. The sport has increased my well being and a commitment to improve people’s lives that is around me. Through Gracie Barra we can create a platform to not just only teach self defence but to utilise jiu jitsu as a means for improving and making people’s lives better.

I am a Registered Nurse by profession and has been interested in martial arts at a young age. I have trained taekwondo, boxing, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu jitsu.
I am a jiu-jitsu practitioner, a wife and a mother of three. I have completed Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy at University of Western Sydney and my goal as a Coach is to engage our Gracie Barra students in an active learning community, to promote health, well-being and participation in life through jiu jitsu as one of their occupational engagement.
I'll tell you what Brazilian Jiu Jitsu means to me when I see you on the mats, but for now, let me tell you what Gracie Barra means to me...
Gracie Barra for me is ONENESS, TOGETHERNESS...I truly believe in UNITY and how Gracie Barra as a platform of sharing jiu jitsu for everyone can truly help make this world a better place to live in, not just for me, not just for my three children, but for future generations to come! It is such an honour and a great privilege to be a member of Gracie Barra and i am deeply grateful for it!
BLACKTOWN CITY community, I cannot wait to be of service to you all! See you all on the mats!
